On-Premise Privacy & Client Data Sovereignty

1. On-Premise Data Sovereignty (The Core Guarantee)

UBVY Group develops local-first desktop software. When you operate LensNew Optical BOS or UBVY Pathology App, all clinical patient records, optical prescriptions, customer phone numbers, stock inventories, and financial ledgers reside exclusively on your local workstation's ACID SQLite database.

We do not upload, harvest, inspect, monetize, or synchronize your operational databases to our servers without your explicit, voluntary configuration. Your business data belongs solely to your enterprise.

2. Hardware Telemetry During Licence Activation

To bind a lifetime or annual licence to a specific workstation, our software computes a one-way cryptographic SHA-256 digest of non-sensitive machine identifiers (motherboard serial, disk drive UUID, and volume serial number). This hash contains zero personal or business records and is utilized exclusively to generate your Ed25519 digital signature file (.ubvysig).

3. WhatsApp Business Automation Security

When utilizing our WhatsApp notification integrations, messages and invoices are transmitted directly via official WhatsApp Cloud API endpoints using your store's authenticated credentials. UBVY Group does not store copies of your customer communication logs on third-party analytical platforms.

Commercial Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE: OCTOBER 2026

1. Scope of Commercial Licence Grant

Upon verified payment confirmation, UBVY Group grants the purchasing business a non-exclusive, perpetual or term-specific commercial licence to operate the specified edition of the software on the agreed number of physical workstations.

2. Intellectual Property Protection

All proprietary source code, cryptographic signing implementations, user interface designs, and trademark assets associated with UBVY Group, UBVY Technology, LensNew Optical BOS, and UBVY Pathology App remain the intellectual property of UBVY Group. Decompilation, binary tampering, or distribution of unauthorized licence files is strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution under the Indian Copyright Act and IT Act.

3. Annual Support & Free Workstation Re-issuance

Standard commercial licences include 12 months of prioritized technical support, minor version enhancements, and hardware replacement assistance. If a licensed workstation suffers catastrophic hardware failure (e.g., motherboard replacement), UBVY Group provides free licence key re-issuance upon submission of the new hardware fingerprint during the active support term.

Refund & Cryptographic Licence Policy

1. Mandatory Pre-Purchase Verification

UBVY Group conducts live remote demonstrations and provides full evaluation trials before any commercial payment is accepted. We require customers to verify optical POS printers, barcode scanners, and clinical analyzer serial connectivity with our engineering team prior to purchasing a permanent licence.

2. Cancellation Prior to Digital Signature Issuance

If an invoice has been paid via bank transfer but the cryptographic Ed25519 digital signature file (.ubvysig) has not yet been generated and released, a full refund can be issued upon written request within 24 hours of payment.

3. Post-Delivery Non-Revocable Cryptographic Keys

Because our desktop software operates 100% offline using mathematically self-contained Ed25519 digital signatures, an issued licence key cannot be remotely revoked or deactivated once delivered. Consequently, refunds cannot be granted once an official .ubvysig licence token has been generated and issued to the client.
